AI role play and coaching

Realistic conversation practice, whenever your people need it

Role play is how sales and service skills are built. In most training rooms, though, it depends on a facilitator's time and on people performing in front of the group, so practice is scarce and almost none of it is captured.

We build AI role play with avatars that people talk to naturally, as a customer or a colleague, so they can practise the conversation as often as they need. Every session is recorded, and the judgement on assessments stays with people.

Sales, service, and learning leaders in customer-facing networks.
Capabilities

What we build

Avatar coaching.

An iPad app in live use on Hyundai Motor UK training courses since April 2026. Delegates hold spoken role plays with a photoreal avatar in dealer coaching scenarios.

AI assessment.

Conversation assessments scored with a human in the loop, part of Hyundai's Expert Level programme for around 5,000 sales and service advisors.

Supervisor briefing practice.

For Murphy Group, a full supervisor briefing simulation with role play throughout. Each response is scored with a rationale, and the session ends with feedback.

AI product knowledge coaches.

An INSTER coach ran during a live mystery-shop campaign in July 2026, and an IONIQ 9 coach is commissioned.

Reporting.

A dashboard showing session data by dealership across the UK, with an assistant the training team can question in plain English.

Measuring impact

Every practice session is captured, so progress and certification can be tracked in real time rather than guessed at.
FAQ

Questions we're often asked

What is AI role play training?

Practising real conversations with an AI avatar that responds naturally, as a customer or colleague would. Hyundai Motor UK has used our avatar coaching app on its training courses since April 2026.

Does the AI decide who passes?

No. In Hyundai's Expert Level programme, conversation assessments are scored with a human in the loop, so the judgement stays with people.

What can AI role play be used for?

Sales and service conversations, dealer coaching, product knowledge, and safety leadership. Murphy Group's supervisor briefing simulation lets supervisors practise delivering briefings, and an AI coach for the Hyundai INSTER ran during a live mystery-shop campaign in July 2026.

Can we see how people are progressing?

Yes. Every session is captured, and Hyundai's training team sees session data by dealership on a dashboard they can question in plain English.
